WHAT IS AN OFSTED INSPECTION?

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. Ofsted is responsible for inspecting a range of educational institutions, including state schools and Academy Schools.  The way in which Ofsted inspect schools has recently changed (September 2019) and will involce assessing the schools curriculum 'intent, implementation and impact' along with the quality of the education delivered.
